This was my first attempt with the Acetate and Tissue technique. It was fun to try this. I definitely need some more re-inkers since I can see myself really enjoying this technique. The tutorial on this site was really good and I had no trouble following it.
To get a mitred effect on the "frame", I masked off 3/4 of the frame and stamping Weathered on the remaining 1/4, repeating all the way around, turning the square each time. I drew in a line at each corner to add to the effect.

My daughter would just love this card. I am going to save to my fav's for her b-day coming up. She majored in fine arts in college. So she would love this.

This is a superb card! (My first attempt at this wasn't nearly this nice. ) This gives me the inspiration to try again. And I absolutely LOVE the mitred corners...that is really cool! I've not seen that done before. TFS!
